  1. The U.S. Postal Service is requesting access to $75 billion through a combination of cash, grants and loans to avoid a liquidity crisis this Autumn, reports Government Executive.
  2.  An Post, in partnership with Children’s Books, Ireland have distributed a free 24-page #ImagineNation playbook to children all over Ireland to enjoy. The campaign is aimed at helping families confined to their homes by COVID-19.

  6. 25 UPS-managed flights will deliver more than three million pounds of materials including masks, surgical gowns, gloves, medical swabs and thermometers in high-demand within the U.S. healthcare system.
  7. Parcel delivery firm DPD has joined forces with 3DCrowd, the community of 3D printer owners who are using their machines to help alleviate the acute shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline healthcare workers. 
  8. Nigerian Postal Service has expressed its readiness to join hands with the Presidential Task Force (PTF) and other relevant agencies in the fight against the Coronavirus Pandemic.
  9.  Parcel locker provider InPost has seen the use of its lockers triple in March compared to February as social distancing measures drive customers and small businesses to use the contact-free service to send parcels.
  10. PayPoint has announced a deal with Yodel to take full ownership of UK parcel network Collect+.
